Carnival

Why not join in the Carnival Parade? It’s free to enter and great fun. Opposite are details of the various entry classes. All you have to do is choose which class you’d like to enter and assemble on the West Green by 5:30pm. Flag markers will indicate the assembly point for each class.

Judging begins at 5:45pm, with prizes for entries placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd for each class. Once the judging is complete, the Carnival Marshall will direct you to join the procession.

  1. St Helens Individual Children: 8 & under
    Please note: To enter this class, you must be currently living in, or go to school in, the village of St Helens, Isle of Wight.

2. St Helens Individual Children: 9-13

3. Children: 13 & under

4. Individuals: 14 & over

5. Decorated Bicycles & Mobility Scooters

9. Decorated Vehicles, Trailers or Floats – Privately Owned

10. Decorated Vehicles, Trailers or Floats – Organisations, Schools and Commercial

11. Island Carnival Queens
